Our Curriculum
I hear, and I forget. I see, and I remember. I do, and I understand. We will provide hands on learning experiences in which your child will discover, learn, and grow. Teachers will develop lesson plans that meet each individual student’s needs.
We have monthly themes and weekly letters that we incorporate into our lesson plans. Some of the things teachers work on are letter sounds, shapes, colors, counting, and phonemic awareness activities, like rhyming. Getting along with others and learning social skills are another important part of the preschool program. We have Ms. Stephanie that comes once a week and teaches the children some great music. Ms. Tabatha, our children's minister, teaches a weekly bible lesson with the children at our Chapel Time. We have also incorporated a gymnastics class this year with Ms. Cindy! Learning and growing are always taking place, whether it be socially, intellectually, physically, or spiritually!
